Site Service Engineering offers full support to British Steel

British Steel entered administration on 22 May 2019 and is currently in the process of seeking a buyer.

With 4,000 British Steel jobs at risk and another 20,000 in the supply chain potentially under threat, this is a difficult and uncertain time for all who work in the steel industry.

The majority of the British Steel workforce is based at Scunthorpe Steelworks, the largest steel factory in the UK. This hits close to home for Site Service Engineering, which has close ties to the steelworks.

The steel industry is right at the heart of our local economy and it is important that local businesses continue to support it during these turbulent times.

As such, British Steel and the Scunthorpe Steelworks retain the full support of Site Service Engineering and we will do everything possible to ensure a smooth transition for the new owners.
